I always had an awkward relationship with photography. For the most part I felt I could not ‘understand’ it or failed to interpret the underlying message in the image. Maybe because unlike a painting where I could appreciate the brush strokes, the color schemes or paint medium used to express an idea what I only observed in a photograph is an image… and that is it. However, after I started taking photographs, I slowly started to comprehend the story behind an image simply because I am trying to construct a story myself.
